Course Structure

Our Full-Time Intensive English Program is a 9-week program. Before classes begin, students will take a placement exam to determine in which level they will begin in the following classes.

Friday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Reading & Writing Monday – Thursday, 10:45 AM – 12:15 PM
Friday, 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM
Grammar Monday – Thursday, 1:15 PM – 2:45 PM
Friday, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

The program has the following levels.

Level 1 CEFR A1
Level 2 CEFR A2
Level 3 CEFR B1
Level 4 CEFR B2
Level 5 CEFR C1
Level 6 CEFR C2

At the end of the 9-week session, students must have an average class grade of 70% or higher to advance to the next level in any particular class. Students start in the level they test into when they begin at Global. Students can continue their studies until they have reached the level they desire. Upon completion of their studies, students receive a certificate to show the highest levels they completed.

Explanation of Fees

  • Tuition: Includes 21 hours of study per week, Monday to Thursday; and 3 hours of study on Friday.
  • Homestay: Includes a private bedroom; 2 meals per day, Monday to Friday; 3 meals per day, Saturday and Sunday; and transportation to and from school.
  • Site Fees: Fees for classrooms space, computer use, equipment and classroom supplies.
  • Textbooks: Includes 4 textbooks for 3 classes.
  • Health Insurance: Mandatory fee for F-1 visa holders; optional fee for others.
